HAPPY BONES
dark object theatre show
Bunch of bones, all collected from different parts of the world, small coffin and a stuffed panda. Like a cheerful alchemist the puppeteer makes characters, emotions and entanglements pop out of inanimate matter. Simple bones, without using a single word, tell their stories about solitude. Who is the puppet and who is the animator? Who is dead and who alive? Object theatre in its most raw form, shows its endless possibilities. Dadaistic partiture, ironic black comedy, that every second changes perspective of the viewer, surprises and makes you laugh. Until you realise, that you are just a part of bigger game. Game of death.

LITTLE NIGHT TALES
expressive puppets with live music
The only thing disturbing the night’s silence was his thoughts. The writer started writing a story while everyone was asleep. Unfortunately, the words weren’t flowing on the paper the way he liked them to. After a few unsuccessful attempts he lowered his pen and left the table. However, the story was just beginning. The characters of the writer started coming alive in the dark of the night.

DOG'S LIFE
object-theatre & concert on life of Karel Čapek
Based on the real experiences of both authors, ́Dog's life' follows a dog's perspective of a puppy Dašenka and her understanding of the human world. Double meanings of a social system, confrontations between the political world of Čapek (1930's, Czech) and Solce (a postmodern world), bring the neccecary criticism to the gentle story of a dog, opening his first eye and making his first step. Starting with Solce's favourite character, the Death, which is stepping in the role of mother nature, we experience sensitivity and playfullness as well as heavy political topics as holocoust and nazi propaganda connected in comical way to today's mass media manipulation. Game of shoes, wool, objects and soundscapes, that are made on stage with help of loop station, change from situation to athmosphere, from character to melody, from performance to concert.

"E Beh?" (PULCINELLA)
commedia dell"arte with objects
The show builds on comical situations, and is based on the traditional Italian character of Pulcinella, who knows no authority or fear. It is a form of puppet minimalism, in which first the puppet is created from naught, then comes to life and immediately finds a partner to play with. Pulcinella comes face-to-face with characters such as the dog, and Death, but in contrast to tradition, the story finishes without a winner.

The tragicomedy is starting with the poor puppeteer, which lives without stage, without lights and has to make his way through life with only one marionette. Interfered by the manager, which only wants to build a commercial hit, the simple traditional puppet show escalates into physical theatre, commedia dell’arte and surrealistic scenes, in which the stage spreads all over the place and the audience becomes actively involved. And after the puppet cut her strings off, after puppeteer loses his job, after the public leaves the disastrous show… the new ideas start growing again.

MESARICA - THE HATCHET
concert & intermedial cabaret on a fire engine
“Did you hear that? Martin Krpan, a chun farmer (well, smuggler) who was transporting salt (or better, the gunpowder) in the 19th century and with his sword (well, a hatchet) saved the Habsburg kingdom! It was a very cold day, on italian border…” Slovenian legend meets 5 actors, a bunch of objects and a fire engine. They tear the story up and recreate it in the form of concert, playful comedy, object theatre and improvised passages. Inclusive fusion, where actors meet puppets, where rock meets folk, the postmodernism meets tradition and where the audience becomes part of bar “Pr Tauzlu”. There stories, with help of brandy (or two), easily reappear more alive than reality itself .

KAR (REPASS)
object theatre, concert and cabaret
During the funeral feast, the sound of glasses clinking and the touching sounds of the funeral band, instead of a calm farewell, the life of the deceased is reanimated. And she is alive again, too – via the random movements of the waiter or unobtrusive combinations of music, words and things. And with her, the imagination of the guests is alive again. Fueled by wine, they dive into the past so much that they, themselves, become characters from the story of Anna Karenina. Experience a theatre of object with a band playing original music based on Russian traditions. All performers switch from musical to singing to acting numbers in dizzying fashion...
